While running last week and this week, I have found I have a hard time finding something for my brain to do during my workout. After a few sessions, I came up with a chant/prayer that paces me and keeps me focused. It goes like this:

One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Lord, I need You in my world.

Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Help me rely on Your grace.

And then I just repeat it. It's calming, too, especially the grace part. Anyway, just wanted to share. :) Thanks for reading!

Good Idea! I am commiting to start using my treadmill and it faces the wall, so I really need something to focus on while I walk.
So I will have to think up something to use too. That will probably be the mental focus of my first walk today. Mine has to rhyme. Just cause. M

I have no idea why it put the time as 4:29am. It was 7:29am here. And it is Saturday. Why in the world am I up this early?
